POWs

If this post is dated before 2011, I almost certainly do not agree with its contents any more. I had a profound philosophical shift that began in early 2010, which ultimately left me somewhere left of center. Please disregard all right-wing, nutjob ramblings you may find here.

It’s official: we’ve had 10 or so soldiers fall into the hands of the savages. Several of them have already been executed. Others have been paraded across the airwaves on the al-Jazeera Terrorist News Network. One is a woman. President Bush and SecDef Rumsfeld have both made public statements that they “expect” the savages to treat our POWs humanely and that anyone who didn’t would be treated as a war criminal. Of course they won’t treat them humanely, as the video attests. Plus one of Iraq’s spokes-terrorists last week said that any allied prisoners would be burned or beheaded. We are treating their captured troops with kid gloves and they are executing ours.

Anyone who believes that the Iraqis will treat POWs humanely is complete fool.
