Last night was the final night of the season and it was a mixed bag. The first and third games were quite good. The second was painful. Really. I mean it. Physically painful. Let me ‘splain.
In the 9th frame of the first game, as I made my approach, my left foot slipped and I ended up in a quasi-split. At that precise moment, it felt as if someone had just shoved a bayonet into my right inner thigh. You know where I’m talking about it. So most of the 2nd game was physically painful to bowl. A team-mate gave me some Tylenol which kicked in about half-way through that game, so it wasn’t a total loss, but it certainly wasn’t any fun.
