Sarah Palin: Too Little, Too Late?

If this post is dated before 2011, I almost certainly do not agree with its contents any more. I had a profound philosophical shift that began in early 2010, which ultimately left me somewhere left of center. Please disregard all right-wing, nutjob ramblings you may find here.

While I certainly think that the selection of Sarah Palin as McCain’s veep has re-energized the party, I don’t really think it’s enough to stop Obama. I used to say that Obama was going to eat McCain’s lunch come November. Now I think he might just eat McCain’s appetizer, but Obama is still going to win. I just don’t think it’s going to be the landslide I originally predicted: .

    I sincerely hope you watch the interview with Couric where she throws out gems like:

    “So health care reform and reducing taxes and reining in spending has got to accompany tax reductions, and tax relief for Americans, and trade — we have got to see trade as opportunity, not as, uh, competitive, um, scary thing, but one in five jobs created in the trade sector today.”

    The first part of that, before the -, is really something.
