Weigh-In Results

I re-joined Weight Watchers the week before Thanksgiving, and this past Thursday was my first weigh-in since. Amazingly, I lost 4.2 pounds. Not bad for having Turkey-day in the middle.

Weigh-In Results

Gained .8 pound. A bit disappointing given all the cycling I did last week, but my clothes are fitting better, and I can tell a difference in the mirror. The fact that the scale didn’t show a loss is just something I have to deal with, because I have lost fat; it’s been exchanged for muscle.

Cycling Has Paid Off

I had my weigh-in tonight and I’m already seeing results from all the cycling I did this week. I lost 5.2 pounds! Ooo yah!

Not as bad as I feared, but not as good as I’d hoped. I had a bad week, but only ended up gaining .6 pound. I’m on the road to a good loss this week. I went for a ride yesterday, and my plan is to ride every day this week, unless it’s raining. I’m going to gor for today’s ride in about an hour.

Excellent Weigh-In!

Last night I went to my Weight Watchers meeting and discovered that I had lost 2.2 pounds! So now I’m 0.2 pounds lighter than I was before the funeral weekend. And that’s a good thing.

Not a Good Weigh-In

Headed out to my weekly Weight Watchers meeting last night and got some bad news… a 2 lb gain. Drat! Several factors contributed to this… the funeral over the weekend and all the food constantly being delivered and the fact that we’ve had so much rain lately that I haven’t gotten on the bike since last week. And any bike riding in the near future is dicey since I broke the little toe on my left foot Wednesday night. Kicked a suitcase, I did.

Weigh In For June 12

Some of you who know me know that I’ve been battling my weight for years. Tammy and I have been Weight Watchers members for two years now, and I had lost a ton of weight, but then fell into a very long “I don’t care” period and gained it all back. :-( But now I’m on the wagon again and making actual progress. I have a new mountain bike that I’ve been riding at night, so that will help and I’m eating properly now. (I’ve also set a goal for myself of training to do the BRAG next year.)

So I’ve decided that after every weigh-in (each Thursday night) I will post my progress, good or bad. So for the inaugural posting, here’s the report from last Thursday, June 12:

I lost 2.2 pounds!

I just need to keep it up. This past weekend was hard with all the funeral-related comfort food around, but I think I weathered it pretty well. We’ll find out for certain this Thursday night.
