This case should never have seen the light of day. This woman should be tossed into a looney bin, because she is clearly insane. The lawyer who took her case should be disbarred and fined heavily. The judge who is allowing this farce to continue should be removed from the bench and also fined. And all three should have to pay Letterman’s legal fees plus damages. This is an outright abuse of the legal system, but sadly, none of this is going to happen.

I agree with you 100%. How could any judge, lawyer or any person with common sense allow this waste of court time and money to continue. The lawyer that took her case is the type that gives lawyers a bad reputation.
Heh, for once I agree with you Joey 🙂 I was amazed to see that the Judge originally gave her what she wanted.
According to papers here though she represented her self at certainly the most recent hearing.
It’s not a case, it’s a request for a restraining order. There is no indication that there was a lawyer for Ms. Nestler.
As to if the judge should have taken any time on it, that all depends on how the law was written. It could be written that all requests for a restraining order result in a tempoary restraining order being issued. That doesn’t seem to be a bad policy to me.
